Elementor video templates & widget

Use the VideographyWP video widget in Elementor and replace the featured image with the imported video inside your templates.

VideographyWP integrates with Elementor and Elementor PRO in two ways.

1. The VideographyWP video widget

  1. Edit a page or a template with Elementor.
  2. Search the widget panel for VideographyWP and drag the video widget onto the canvas.
  3. The widget outputs the video attached to the current post using your per-video settings.

2. Replace the featured image in templates

When you build a single post or single product template in Elementor Theme Builder, set the video’s Embed position to Replace featured image. Anywhere the template renders the featured image, VideographyWP renders the video instead — so every video post shows its video automatically, with no manual editing.

Tips

  • Keep lazy load on so Elementor pages stay fast; the widget shows a clickable thumbnail until the visitor plays it.
  • Combine with global embedding options to keep every Elementor video consistent.
