Theme compatibility
How VideographyWP works with the default WooCommerce gallery, with premium themes that build their own, and with non-WooCommerce WordPress themes.
VideographyWP hooks into the native WooCommerce product gallery, so it works out-of-the-box with any theme that uses the default gallery output and JavaScript. The WooCommerce settings tab confirms this: “It appears that your theme is using the default WooCommerce product gallery and the plugin will be able to display videos in your products image galleries.”
Premium themes with dedicated support
Some premium themes replace the WooCommerce gallery with their own slider (for example, Flatsome uses the Flickity slider). For these, VideographyWP ships purpose-built compatibility so the video drops into the gallery correctly. Supported themes include:
Avada, Basel, Bateaux, Bedesk, Bridge, Elessi, Flatsome, Jevelin, Leka, Medicare, Merchandiser, Patron, Primrose, Ri Space, Riode, Sober, Tokoo, Unicon, Woodmart and Yolo Motor — plus the WooSwipe and YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier gallery plugins. See the full list on compatible themes.
Non-WooCommerce WordPress themes
For regular posts and pages, VideographyWP handles all embedding itself, so it works with any WordPress theme. It can import from YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion regardless of your theme.
Theme not supported yet?
Because themes are free to customise the gallery, a few may need extra work. If your WooCommerce theme isn’t compatible, submit a support ticket and request it — the compatibility list grows from user requests.
